-Do I really want to heal / change?
I strongly recommend that you answear these questions honestly. In current practice I meet a lot of people who are not happy with themselves, have various health problems, but do nothing to change the situation they’re in. I also worked with people who came to my personal counseling or therapy, but their main issues still did not improve. Through therapy I realized that that person actually does not want to change.
They did not want to change their behaviour patterns, because they felt safe in them and that was the only thing in life they knew. They got used to emotionaly blackmail theri surroundings by constantly trying to feel sorry for themselves and others.
